Storyboard

I’ve loved comic books for as long as I can remember. Not just the artwork. The storytelling. The ability to create movement, emotion and meaning through a sequence of carefully chosen images. A great comic artist can tell an entire story in a handful of panels. Sometimes a single page can contain more narrative weight than a chapter of text.

That idea stayed with me. What would happen if I approached tattooing the same way? Could a person’s story be reduced to three images? Could three moments, three symbols or three fragments of a larger narrative capture something meaningful about a life, an experience or an identity? That question became Storyboard.
